CONSCIOUS STYLE MADE IN BRAZIL.

An invitation to pause, listen, and embrace slow living.

This is how Florita, with feet in the sand and a free heart, wishes to live and create.

Tropical warmth, savoring the present moment, art, and the true essence of the word 'resignify' serve as inspiration.

Appreciating time, with products timeless and label-free but purposeful, we cultivate well-being and believe in a holistic future.

We see the present and the future as collective endeavors.

Welcome.

OUR ESSENCE

At Florita, the essence of upcycling transcends the transformation of old pieces into new; it's an eco-poetic journey of redefinition that extends beyond design. Our projects reflect the desire to reconsider not only fashion but also the beauty and uniqueness of our experiences.

OUR PURPOSE

CERTIFICATIONS

In an increasingly environmentally conscious world, the presence of ecological seals for us is not just a choice but a tangible commitment to sustainability. These seals are emblems of our dedication to ethical practices, environmental responsibility, and conscious innovation. With them, we highlight our active role in promoting a more sustainable industry, contributing to a healthier planet. Together, with these seals, we are shaping not only the present of fashion but also a more ethical and sustainable future for all.

The B Corp Certification, or B Corp Certification, is awarded to companies that meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and corporate responsibility by the B Lab organization. Certified companies strive to balance financial goals with a positive impact on society and the environment, being recognized for socially responsible business practices.
The Eco-Age logo is a certification badge awarded to companies committed to sustainable practices and environmental responsibility, granted by the sustainability consulting agency Eco-Age. Combining 15 years of strategic sustainability expertise with creative storytelling, the result is innovative and credible sustainability initiatives that combat greenwashing.
Established in 2003, the Brazilian Association of Fashion Designers aims to strengthen and promote Brazilian design and fashion. Its primary objective is to support the development of internationally recognized Brazilian brands and promote the Brazilian lifestyle, thereby contributing to the growth of all segments linked to the fashion industry.

We work with fabrics that do not harm the environment.

  • Biodegradable from the inside out. Amni Soul® is a modified polyamide yarn that enables clothes to decompose rapidly when correctly disposed of, typically within three to five years. This fabric is used in our reversible swimsuits and bikinis.

  • This fabric is used in our Mama Kaftan and Papa Summer Shirt. It is composed of cellulosic fibers and meets carbon-neutral requirements. Florita's modal supply comes from a certified and sustainable reforested area.

ABOUT US

Florita was born from the desire to rethink how we live and the methods of fashion production. Founded by Júlia Almeida in 2017 in London (UK), Florita draws inspiration from the serene pace of slow living and the beauty of Brazilian beaches.

The fusion of sustainable fashion and respect for the environment not only forms the foundation but also guides our brand's direction. We believe it's possible to think and create with minimal environmental impact, avoiding the waste of materials.
